For the past 50 years I have had the extreme pleasure of being able to do what I love every day. As an illustrator/artist I live in a world of Fantasy and Dreams. In January of 2009 I will turn 70 years old and I still love what I paint every day. In 1999 I started a series I call American Beauties of retro 40's-50's Pinup Paintings. I have wanted to do this series most of my life. I love Pinups and I love women and I hope it shows in my art. Most of the world knows my Fantasy, Science Fiction and Comic art. I gained a fandom working with my twin brother, Tim, on Star Wars, Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, Marvel Comics and dozens of illustrated books as The Brothers Hildebrandt. You can see most of my art at www.spiderwebart.com it's a great place to spend some time if you like art fantasy and dreams. - Greg Hildebrandt
