Astronomy and science geek with a love of astrophotography plus many other areas of photography. I've written articles for Sky at Night magazine and other online astronomy mags, had my images appear in Sky at Night, local newspapers, text books and several other places. I give talks on astronomy and astrophotography and am passionate about outreach.

I have had several spinal surgeries plus have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue so I often have impaired mobility and severe pain so I can't always play out on clear nights as much as I'd like. But I make the most of my good days!

When I'm not doing astronomy I play bass guitar in 2 bands. I also love our 4 cats to bits.
