I am so enriched by the whole process. From the adventure of the shoot to the realization of a final image. Textures, shadows, abstractions are my intimate friends; + the industrial aesthetic resonance of the urban environment.
I grew up surrounded by west coast abstract expressionist art via my father's gallery (Dilexi '58-'70) which had a great impact on me and how I evolved to see things. I am also a musician and the interrelationship between visual and sonic composition is always informing what I do with photography.
