"Seeing the World, Through the Eyes of My Lens"
I am a photographer from Maple Ridge, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I have always been passionate about photography and have been taking pictures since I was a teenager. It’s a hobby that has brought me tremendous joy over the years, especially when I’m able to share my images with family and friends. I love adding descriptive details to my photos and telling stories through the moments I capture.
I’m especially drawn to travel photography, and some of my favourite subjects include landscapes, seascapes, waterscapes, boats, old cars, flowers, macro work, and sunsets. I also truly enjoy photographing the many beautiful places we’re fortunate to have right here in Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
I’m really enjoying my time on Flickr and have been a member since June 2011, originally just to view a friend’s photostream. It wasn’t until April 2014 that I bought my first DSLR and began posting photos to my own photostream. Flickr continues to amaze me — there is so much talent from photographers around the world, both amateur and professional, and their work inspires me every day.
So, thank you to all my Flickr friends who drop by to visit my photostream, and thank you for your continued support, comments, faves, compliments, and feedback. They are all truly appreciated. I also want to thank those who have sent kind words and encouragement — they have meant more than you will ever know.
With Kindest Regards,
♥ Sonja Peterson
