My passion for motorsport began as a young lad living in Wanganui and being taken to Oceanview Speedway and the infamous Cemetery Circuit. I also had two older Brothers, one had an obsession with motorbikes and one owned a number of customised cars, which helped fuel my fascination with speed and motorsports. I have always owned a camera of some description but it wasn't until 2009 when I purchased an Olympus digital camera with two kit lenses, that I started developing my passion for motorsport photography. I spent a lot of my weekends at circuits, speedway tracks and following Targa and WRC rallies. In 2022, I was offered the opportunity to be a track photographer at Robertson Prestige International Speedway in Palmerston North and have been progressively developing my skillset and equipment. A number of my photos have been published in the print media, books and magazines along with posters and programmes.
