It was founded in 1969 and commenced operations in January 1970. Today, Spectrum is a leader in the field of hollow fiber membrane development, as well as cellulose ester and regenerated cellulose dialysis membranes. Some of the products initially developed are sold to this day, including Spectra/Por® dialysis membranes.
