I'm an infinitesimal speck on this little blue planet, observing life, love, and the human condition with much amusement.

I doodled as a kid but never had any formal art instruction. (Damn those piano lessons!) I haven't drawn anything in the last 30 years or so, but started anew in Fall 2008 when I found the Everyday Matters group.

Now I'm doodling in an art journal, trying to sketch from real life, flinging watercolors and experimenting with different styles. I'm not sure I'm successful at any of those but I sure am having fun. The joy of creativity is what it's all about.
