Special caught my eyes in the beginning when i came into flickr about half years ago. i was attracted by Special's special color - pink skirt or textures. oh, her photo i added to my fav at first was "Body Outline"(http://www.flickr.com/photos/special/4384256/), it was b&w against all. yes, it left a vivid impression. her cutting out was attracted me, and then special's vivid color caught me. since then i kept following Special and looking for Special's stuff. It is not too much to say that my eyes are changed by Special.

Special first got my attention with THE BEST ICON EVER, and I wasn't dissapointed when I clicked through and found that she was able to back it up with creative and compelling photos. I really appreciate the thought that she puts into her work.

She makes me wanna go to make a pilgramage to Kemp, Texas to touch the holy "sexyredwall" and to get a look at her fa real and maybe I could pass my hands over that guitar. Her southern gothic eye for decay brought my passion for the decayed and junked out of my mental storage bin and through my lens, for which I'm deeply grateful. Read lessI love Special photos. It's one of that persons that have the "vision" in the right place and in the right time. Her photos are simple but behind each one there's a story and the way Special capture it, make the dference.
Special is special. She seems to go out of her way to comment much more than she should, and takes beutiful shots in her own style, with what looks like a much simpler camera than anyone else in the small group of photographers as esteemed as her on Flickr.

I take her opinions and judgements seriously. Special is my friend - whether a midnight gmail about her shooting adventures or a perceptive critique on my work, I value her friendship sincerely. and did i say that girl can shoot! and i will elbow folks outta the way to get in one of her groups... they make me think better about what i am shooting and why.
