Firstly, I loath the idea of self description. With that said, this might give you an idea of who I am. Born in a beach town in NC, I never really wanted to travel. I had the ocean and river at my fingertips, and was quite content to stay. College came along and I moved to Detroit, MI. Once I had tasted life across the highways, it was a bug that never let me go. During my time in school, I traveled down to Atlanta, over to San Fran and Santa Cruz, back across to Kansas City (both of them), and up to Chicago before heading to New York City. From the sighs and experiences I had in each of those towns, I regretted not having a camera of my own to make memories last. Now, having moved back to my hometown in NC, I have set out to make memories that I can take with me. As I still travel, I want to capture like never before, the life and movement of the towns I visit, the people I meet and the work that is accomplished. Now that I have my Olympus E-520 (my first DSLR), I think I'm ready to make that happen.
