There are two aspects that make your photography. There are technical aspects, which you can see. Perfect exposure, lighting, and composition. Then, there is the deeper, more expressive aspect which you can feel. Very few people can embrace the latter. Mike Burroughs is one of those people. When I saw Mike's photostream, I could feel it. There is so much more at work here than a well composed, technically perfect photograph. He has a unique blend of composition, editing, and style that defines his photography. He is one of the few people that can express his love of automotive as more than just excellent photography, but as art. To be honest, I can't tell you what tangible characteristics of his photography make it so awe inspiring. Maybe its soul, maybe its self-expression, or maybe he just has an amazing eye... but whatever it is, I find myself constantly browsing his photostream to find my own personal inspiration.
