Wisdom can be found in many places, yet all to often people focus too much on the messenger and not on the message.
Wisdom cannot be imparted. Wisdom that a wise man attempts to impart always sounds like foolishness to someone else.
When someone seeks then it easily happens that his eyes see only the thing that he seeks, and he is able to find nothing, to take in nothing because he always thinks only about the thing he is seeking, because he has one goal, because he is obsessed with his goal. Seeking means: having a goal. But finding means: being free, being open, having no goal.”
― Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha
Wisdom is different for everyone, I can tell you and show you what wisdom is mine, but your own wisdom is learned through experience; learned through not seeking but finding. Being open and receptive to all things and letting the universe fill you and surround you; like water embraces and smooths the ruff edges of a stone.
Remember that there is no absolute, there is no just black or white, but an entire spectrum of colors, visible and invisible (it is the invisible that has the most to teach).
What is wisdom to one is foolishness to another. If you read the captions to my photos I will try to share what wisdom I have found and it comes from many places.
I do not follow any religions, because religions are methods of control, usually through fear and all have become corrupted by the ego of man.
please try to keep and open mind when reading and please stay respectful.
peace, love, and light to you all!
Btw please comment on the photos about the picture or the bits of wisdom, I would very much enjoy a deep thoughtful conversation.
