Spacing is a magazine based in Toronto that examines the joys, obstacles, and politics of the urban landscape.

Spacing comes out four times a year (3 Toronto issues, 1 national issue). We launched in late 2003 and have published over 50 issues.

While the magazine is primarily Toronto-focused, there are Spacing blogs in Montreal, Ottawa, and east coast cities.

Spacing has been named Canadian Small Magazine of the Year three times (2007-2009). In 2010, the editors were the recipients of the Jane Jacobs Award.
