Who is SoZad?

SoZad is neither a person nor a place; it is an eCommerce website that sells discounted selfie sticks, camera accessories, cell phone accessories, and more. In addition to the products, we also feature videos such as the compilation video series, GoPro 4K HD video series, and more in our official eCommerce website. That's it? No! Moreover, we have life-styled blog posts such as travel, photography, and more. All in all, SoZad is a website where you can shop, watch, and read when you feel sad, just feel all right, or feel extremely happy -- anytime and anywhere. We will gradually add more contents and products to satisfy your needs.

What is SoZad doing?

SoZad is doing what we think will be happy for people. People will feel happy when they see discounted products. People will feel happy when they see various types of videos. People will feel happy when they read blog posts about random stuff. This is what SoZad is doing every day. We provide products, organize videos, and create blog posts for all of you to enjoy. SoZad's mission is to create a happy community where everyone can relax and enjoy life.

Where is SoZad located?

SoZad is fully operated via online and is not a brick-and-mortar business. We provide services and products solely via online. All communication and transactions should be conducted via the Internet. Our headquarter is located in San Francisco, California, USA.

When is SoZad formed?

The original idea was developed in January 2015 by Mark Lai who is the lead web developer and manager of SoZad. He spent about half a year to organize the website while having a full-time job and a part-time job. The official SoZad eCommerce website launch date is on September 11, 2015.

Why is SoZad and not others?

The official name came from a simple idea. We intentionally flipped the "S" to "Z" which implies the opposite of sad is happy; we want people to smile and be happy. Moreover, "S" and "Z" combines will make a heart shape. Love will develop when people smile. We really want people to have an optimistic and positive attitude or view about things around them -- even though the world has lots of sad news every day.
