Southfield Public Library is one of the largest public libraries in Michigan. The Library serves the citizens, students and professionals of Southfield, Michigan and Lathrup Village, Michigan. From a collection of 300 books at its founding in 1844, the library has steadily grown and now offers a preeminent collection of print and media all easily accessed within a new world-class building.
