My name is Catherine Frye and I am the owner of Southern Studios Stained Glass in Maryville, TN. I started doing stained glass several years ago as a hobby because I fell in love with the colors and textures. From that hobby I decided to go to work at a stained glass studio in Knoxville.

Then, I decided to start my own shop where I could teach others the art of stained glass, sell supplies and my own work. I have always loved art and my goal in life is to spread the love of art and stained glass to as many people as possible. I am now in a space with Southland Books and Detour Coffee, what we want to be is a coalition of businesses that are a destination for open creativity whether it is art, music, reading, literature or a place for discussion.
