I'm graduate from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors degree in Metalsmithing and Jewelry. Freeforged was started after I received my BFA a few years ago. I strive to create jewelry that is highly wearable: lightweight, durable, and appropriate for all occasions. I believe that by using a combination of modern design and good craftsmanship I can create jewelry that will become the customer's go-to piece. I work primarily in sterling silver, copper, brass, enamel, and occasionally beads, semi-precious stones, and found objects.

I'm currently living in Denton, TX making jewelry in a spare bedroom of my apartment that I don't allow my two cats or dog to wander into because I'm paranoid they'll try to eat something they shouldn't (they would, too). In my spare time I experiment with cooking new foods and with photography.
