About:

My practice has, until now, been intuitive and experiential, functioning primarily as a photographic journal through which I reflect on my journey and lived experiences. Over the years, recurring themes and patterns have emerged in my work, prompting me to explore them more intentionally.

These explorations often circle around the human condition and what it means to live within the landscape of the modern city. In recent years, my focus has turned more specifically toward notions of addiction and the pivotal role our daily habits and choices, both conscious and unconscious, play in shaping our lives. I ask whether images can serve as mirrors, encouraging viewers to pause, reflect, and reconsider the impact of their own daily habits and inner landscapes on their well-being.

At the same time, my practice engages with broader questions of identity, belonging, and the difficulties of human connection, alienation, intimacy and distance, childhood trauma, ADHD, and memory. I am drawn to the tensions, contradictions, and ironies that unfold in everyday life and within the social structures that frame it. My work also gravitates toward the fringes, both the inner edges of our limits, morals, and ethics, and the outer margins of society, where many of those grappling with these struggles are often found or pushed.
