I was born in 1936, and that is why I have subsequently frequented and abandoned all sorts of photographic equipment to reduce myself today to a smartphone

and I am delighted ...

If I can take the kind of slices of life that you do on a phone, in twenty years time, I'll be very happy... as it appears to me, you are now. You have the very rare knack of seeing and documenting the life and people around you in celebration of all their vagaries. Bravo Ferruccio.

There are millions of great images on Flickr and around the globe but looking through and constantly enjoying Sorferru's incredible oeuvre I believe I would struggle to encounter a more emotive and continuously pleasing collection. Replete with the rich tapestry of existence, the elderly people here exude wisdom, you'd like to chat with them and you'd definitely learn something, many many things! Class! PS Thank you to Gecko2020 for signposting this artist.

Photography in the streets, I have enough soon! Everyone who photographs, or almost, lives in the city; and so "everyone" photographs the city and its universe "people". However, the humanity of cities is not exceptional. At 95% they are all, like you and me, very very ordinary people ... Street photography is therefore a very difficult genre. The photographer must be exceptional to bring out the human truth within the daily banality. This is what Ferrucio Nuzzo does very well. And in this genre, if the candidates are very numerous, those who are out of the ordinary, are very rare. It is true that Ferruccio Nuzzo's urban humanity is not that of the world's major urban metropolises. Maybe that's what I like about his photographs. His humanity is not dehuman
