My interest in photography started when I was in school. I did a black and white photography course in temple bar, just a one evening a week for 5 weeks, course. That introduced me to the magic of printing!

In 2007 I did a one year portfolio course in Sallynoggin which was excellent. I started at the basics with black and white analogue photography, fully developing and printing my own work. In going back to the basics I developed a great understanding of how the camera works, reading light and composition.

In 2008 I began studying Media Arts in DIT. Now in my final year I am specializing in Documentary film making.

Even though I stopped studying photography, I have been continuing my work.

In 2008 I did the Vodafone Christmas Campaign, which resulted in my work being displayed around Dublin on billboards, bus stops and the buses themselves!

Over the past 4 years I have photographed 7 weddings, all with great reception from my clients.

I really enjoy working on weddings. Since I am a bit of a romantic myself, I try to capture the little moments between the couple that capture what the day means to them. I prefer to take natural shots but through working with big weddings, I have become very used to the big crowds and getting the perfect group shots!
