Most images are unmodified - apart from minor photoshop processing of digital camera images to make exposure adjustments.

The few that are greatly modified for particular effects are mostly self evident, and are also documented in the description.

 

Images are mostly taken using a Nikon SLR D50 digital camera or a Fuji digital snap happy, though I still sometimes use a Nikon film SLR where there is a large range of light intensity.

With digital images, the original raw, TIF or JPEG files have been reduced in size and converted to jpeg for posting on flickr.

 

All images are posted at a reduced resolution from the originals by reducing the image size, and many have been cropped, often to a square.format.

 

Some images are taken with a flat bed scanner at moderate to high resolution - these produce high resolution images with a very large file size that can be readily cropped.
