I started shooting pictures when I was in college at Lake Superior State Univ. using my mother's old 616 camera with a fold out bellows. My wife and I decided to start a flickr page when our kids were traveling around, going to school all over the place, as a way of keeping in touch with their adventures, and sometimes sharing our own. Since I now shoot entirely with a digital point and shoot camera I don't aspire to match some of the remarkable photographers I see on flickr, but I feel lucky to be able view the beautiful work and interesting locales we have access to on flickr.
