Sonya is from Canada. As a child she moved about with her family from the east coast where she was born, to the interior of her very big country, and then all the way to Texas and later South Africa and Scotland. As an adult she's lived on Canada's west coast and in Japan, Colombia, Venezuela, and Spain. Sonya is an elementary teacher. It keeps her on her toes and challenges her in ways she never anticipated. It lets her see the world through young eyes and has been her ticket to living in new cultures. Her camera keeps her company as she happily gets lost in new and unusual places.
