I'm a birder with a camera, shooting birds in the wild and while banding at Tommy Thompson Park Bird Research Station (TTPBRS). I love sea birds, including pelagics, shorebirds and gulls.

Recently I graduated from a series of super-zoom snapshot cameras to a Canon DSLR. Most photos are taken with a Canon 400/f5.6 and a 100mm/f2.8 macro lens. I shoot from the hip (no tripod) and sometimes digiscope through a Swarovski scope.
