I'm a native southern Californian and teach English as a second language at area community colleges. In my past life, when I didn't give any thought to making money, I studied film at UCLA and AFI. After photography, my next favorite obsession is cooking.

I use Nikon bodies and a mix of Sigma and Nikon lenses. I recently bit the bullet and upgraded to a D300. My pocketbook is not happy. The rest of me is ecstatic.

I run a home-based photography business and currently offer portrait and special event services. Wedding coverage is on the horizon. Right now I am assisting another wedding photographer and learning the ropes.

All of the amazing images on Flickr have really inspired me to keep working on my craft, develop my own personal style, and get out there and take more pictures!
