I love to capture the world through my lens where ever I may be.

I started as a small child with a black and white 110mm camera and then I graduated to a borrowed 35mm SLR Canon ExEE which I toted around the world and back (including a repair stop in Manhattan).

In March 2004, I bought a FujiFilm FinePix S20 Pro digital camera that allowed me to plunge in and take tons of digital photos.

In early 2007, my trusty FujiFilm camera stopped working properly so I bought a Nikon D200 package from B & H Photo. Features in the D200 somewhat exceed my ability, but I never shy away from a learning curve.

In my opinion, seeing a situation well is far more important than the equipment used to capture the image.

My captures are untouched unless otherwise noted because I prefer a documentary style for taking photographs.

I shoot in high-resolution jpeg and reduce the shots for display on Flickr. The D200 tempts me foward to using RAW and post-processing. Larger sizes are available on request.

In my photo stream, I hope that you find images that resonate with you. Thank you for stopping by.

Recently, I have joined up with an effort to expand the NH Photo Tour.

You can follow my progress with them on my FaceBook page or through my Twitter account postings.
