I love taking pictures, and I joined Flickr to encourage myself to take more! I like being known as the one who always has a camera.

I started loving photography with my 35mm Pentax ZX-L. Since then I have ran through a series of Fujifilms: a Finepix 2600Z, a Finepix J20, and a Finepix S3300, until I got the bug bad with the theory of "Project 365" that I learned about through an old teacher of mine from SFCC.

I have made a nice collection and it is nice to have a variety to get a feel for what best suits my particular needs.

I'm an enthusiastic amateur. I like being creative and I like snapshots. I like to see attention paid to composition and balance, saturation and light. Just the basics. I post a pretty good variety of images - some artistic, some not so much - and I post a LOT of images, but I won't apologize for any of it. :-) This is a fun hobby for me and I love experimenting, sharing, and conversing about pictures and gear.
