After more than 40 years doing photography as a hobby, I am considering making a profession of it. But I wonder if I will still enjoy it as much if I HAVE to earn a living from my photos. I also wonder if I can earn enough money doing the kind of photography I like doing without having to do what I don't like: I don't like doing weddings or formal portraits (sometimes it's okay). Time will tell...

I have created this new account to focus more on my "serious" photography; my art and my efforts to act more like a "professional" photographer. I hope that the comments and interactions I have with others as I use this account will help me decide about photography as a profession.
