I love film—grew up with it—but sometimes it tries my patience.

I keep quite a bit of my stream private. I'm presently in mourning (I will always be in mourning) and am just being conservative about what is public and what isn't. That limits my ability to engage with other Flickr members; Flickr doesn't have enough privacy controls to do what I'd really like to do. So I'm making it up as I go along; I generally give more access to the photographers whose work I most admire, as a way of making the exchange more fair.
