I'm most interested in astronomy (including telescopes/observing as well as the science of astronomy), coin collecting, puzzles, music (listening and playing), eBay, hockey (watching NHL and playing street hockey), reading, more.

I like some television (Survivor, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, and a very few others...) and I'm less into movies (mainly drama or some sci-fi).

Favorite authors of mine are Frank Herbert, David Eddings, Robert Heinlein, Peter Hamilton, Tom Clancy, and a few others.

The most special music to me is Marillion. I absolutely love Radiohead, Pineapple Thief, and Pink Floyd. Other groups I frequently listen to are Massive Attack, Muse, Blink 182, Coldplay, Gaia Consort, also some 80s crap that I still have a fondness for and some new stuff that gets me through the day. LOL

I'm an INTJ (borderline ENTJ).

By trade I am a software engineer (meaning I design software systems) and a Java developer (meaning I write code too). I love doing both software design and implementation in balanced amounts. I can't imagine doing anything else... well except being retired maybe. ;)
