Sofi Lundin is a photographer currently based in Oslo, Norway. She has spent more than five years photographing India's tribal villages and metropolis.

Born and brought up in a small town in Sweden she always dreamt of travelling to different countries, learn languages and work with people. At the age of 20 she moved to Norway, to study photography at Robert Meyer institute of photographic and digital Media. Her further education in the field of social anthropology from the University of Oslo helped her develop skills, which has been useful in her daily work.

 

Today Sofi is working as a freelance photographer/journalist. She has great experience in photographing people and her involvement and interest in people gives her images an individual style. Her assignments varies from commercial work for NGO:s, portraits, weddings, lifestyle and family,- and children photographs. She also does work in graphic design for companies and private people.

 

Since 2008 Sofi has worked on a book series together with Norway’s bestselling author, Frid Ingulstad. The books for children about “Rani the Rat” are for sale in Norway and has been translated into German. Her work has been recognized in Norway through exhibitions, magazines and papers.
