Social Design Poster is an international graphic design project created in 2009 by Sergio Olivotti and grew thanks to the generous and concrete collaboration of several people and institutions that constitute the engine of the whole project: the famous jurors, the Diversamente Onlus ONG Association, EIDD “Design for All Europe”. From this year the project is supported by the Association “Find The Cure” that gave it a new life and a larger and more generous vision.

The competition for the creation of a poster this year had the theme “Design Vs Poverty”, a personal challenge of the creatives against poverty.

More then 4550 designers joined the project social network sending 450 posters and participating in an ongoing debate on the web.

The Jurors were: Reza Abedini , Marina Córdova, Pete Kercher, Yossi Lemel, Luba Lukova, Andrew Lewis, Woody Pirtle.

The peculiarity of the contest is infact to let designers to upload his own work even before waiting the entries are closed, allowing the exchange of ideas that are not jealously hidden, but generously shared and virtuously discussed.
