I am a retired Biologist and High School Teacher living in Summerville, South Carolina (near Charleston). I have always enjoyed the outdoor life and am enjoying the freedom I now have. Most of These photographs were taken in my backyard. I live on a 10 acre lake just off of the Ashley River. I seem to get the overflow from the numerous historic plantations on the river. Lots of herons, egrets, waterfowl, eagles and osprey. I'm really enjoying retirement.
