I was born in Bergen, Norway. Many summers passed, and in 2008, I chose to go to Øytun Folkehøgskole (a college without any formal education) in the northern part of Norway. At this school, some of the main focuses were on living in the outdoors, and making photographs out of the experience.

I got introduced to photography in high school in the USA several years ago, however, it took some years until I finally decided in 2009 to do a degree in it; at the University of Portsmouth, UK.

I started taking photos of nature and objects as a hobby, using disposable cameras in addition to my film-cameras (still and moving images). Now my work in photography has lead me more into conceptual projects where the digital camera is my main tool of choice. I like to be open-minded and playful, hence the omnivorous style the images have been taken in.
