I am swift as a gazelle.....an old one....with arthritis.... just been run over by a Land Rover, but I'm still here.

My earlier shots were taken with my first camera, a Sony CyberShot DCS-717. I sold that camera in December 2005, then painfully saved and waited 5 months for my last camera, a Canon 30D with a EF-S 17 - 85 mm F4.5 - F5.6 IS USM (27 - 136 mm equiv. FOV, 5x zoom) lens....what a BIG difference....I have sooooo much to learn.....but Flickr has inspired me to go out and start shooting/learning again. I spent one month in Dalian, China "breaking in" (learning to use) my Canon 30D. I wish I'd of had more time to learn before I visited China.

After a long period of dust settling on my Canon, I finally gifted it to my son.

All the most recent photos are either scans of old printed photos or mostly shot using my Pixel XL mobile device. Update: Finally upgraded to Pixel 8 Pro.

I grew up an "Air Force brat"....moved around a lot....wonderful memories of living in Cardiff, Wales for three years.....my Mum is Welsh, and my Dad is Pennsylvania Dutch/German.
