I love to take photos. Some people in my life have been known to say that they feel their lives are being documented... and this is possibly true. I always have a camera near me. For years I went through a great assortment of POS (point and shoot), but my wife got me a Nikon D40X for a birthday a few years ago, and my kit has grown to include a D90 along with some lovely lenses and lights.
I would like to go from simply taking shots of the things I see to getting something which can be viewed as art.
Photoshop and I are friends, and I'm just getting into Lightroom which seems powerful, but at times confusing. Should I really be using Lightroom only as a database and then slipping back to PS for finishing work?
