But what is art!

If it can touch you... it is art. The first time you look... you keep on looking. It leaves its imprint on your mind.

If time does not change its appeal... it is art. Ansel Adam's photos still have appeal today even though he was using crude technology by today's standards. Technology has changed, art is same.

When an old B&W classic movie ends, you look at the clock. If you have two more hours free... you again start from the beginning. That is art.

What are some of the ingredients to make art! Human emotions, passion, desires, feelings, joy, sadness, wonder, ecstasy... they make the foundation. Bring some of these in your work. Even if it does not look perfect but does the photo evoke a response? Does it speak... or scream?

Expensive lenses, cameras, lightroom, photoshop are just tools. Tools themselves never make anything. When you see a lovely painting in museum do you ask the artist which brand of brushes they used or how many brushes they own!
