History of Club: Club Name is the Saturday Night Cruisers Car Club,

The Saturday Night Cruisers Car Club was founded in 2008, and incorporated in 2009.

Why Club was started: The Car Club began as a group of car enthusiasts who joined together to share and interest in classic cars. The Club promotes a family atmosphere for not only members but for spectators as well. It’s all about a fun night out for not only car owners and there families but for the community as well!

Purpose of Club: The purpose of the Saturday Night Cruisers Car Club is to provide a friendly and fun atmosphere to everyone in the community. The Car Club every year takes on a Charity group and presents them with portions of the proceeds raised throughout the season/year. For example The Saturday Night Cruisers Car Club helps raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) (the club was presented the Golden Sneaker Award for 2009), St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Every year the Saturday Night Cruisers Car Club puts on a 9/11 car show the club donated those proceeds to the New York Police and Fire Widows and Children’s benefit fund as well as the New Windsor Ambulance Corps. Every year they pick an organization to help. These are just some of the community causes we as a club have been and continue to be involved with.

Club Meeting Information: The Car Club meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at the DuckTown Inn located on Walsh Road, New Windsor. The meetings are where it all happens and the club members discuss on what they will be doing there upcoming season. We encourage not only members of the community who have vehicles but also members of the community that do not have vehicles, as the Club is all about raising money for charities.

Activities: Not only does the car club have there own cruise night and car shows they also attend other Cruisers and car shows, as well as Charity Fund Raisers.

Saturday Night Cruisers Car Club once again will be using the Price Chopper lot for the upcoming 2013 season. Car Cruisers will be held every Saturday Night starting April 27, 2013 and ending September 28,2013

Membership Information: Membership applications are not only found on our website (www.saturdaynightcruisersny.com) but are also available at the car cruisers and car shows. Once application is filled out the prospective member must attend the closest next meeting to join the club.
