This portfolio is a labour of love. Being neither an Expert Photographer nor a Pro Traveler, I have, nonetheless, been fortunate to have had the opportunity to voyage near and far over numerous decades capturing moments, places, people and experiences on camera. These images are my true Journal, an exchange for the words I always tried to record, but failed to sustain.

While you will find numerous images from South East Asia and the Middle East, (and eventually Australia when I get organized) the majority of these images are from North America and Europe. These are the destinations that have drawn me back. Invigorated by the fascinating cultural histories, rejuvenated by the serenity of the wilderness and delighted by the modern amusements and entertainment, they elevated both the adult and child within. For my part I have found both of these aspects of my nature essential to truly share in the great wealth of experiences travelling can provide. You too will need both to make the most from these images.

In the spirit of a Journal these images are by and large faithful to the moment. If not perfectly preserved they are at the very least as close a representation of the true experience as I can make them. Like any representation they are always subject to the medium and the eye but they are always less creation than depiction. They are also ongoing. The folios will change and be added to with time. I hope for many years to come.
