I started my love of photography with a Kodak 110 camera in the early 80s and graduated to 35mm film on a Pentax by high school, spending long hours in the darkroom in my teens. I was an award-winning photography editor of my high school and college yearbooks, and it took me a long time to consider digital photography "real" photography. New challenges emerged of course, and back to basics, the old questions reemerged: what makes a good photo, and what makes a photo a work of art?
