My journey in photography started with a Christmas gift of a camera 7-8 years ago from my wife. It wasn’t till I won the grand prize at our county fair in photography that I began to feel competent enough to share my work with others.

That small incentive prompted me to join a local camera club with about 50 members and through monthly competitions and brutal critiques, I began to develop my own particular style and viewpoint. Our club in turn, competes with 25 other clubs in a 3 state area giving me valuable input and experience.

I enjoy new challenges and shooting architecture, HDR interiors, extreme macro up to 10X magnification, horror, oil & water, etc. I take pride in offering different subjects, as I seek to present a different point of view other than landscapes and portraits. My greatest joy is editing and printing my own work, which now hangs in a gallery in my beautiful mountain town.
