Hopefully never constant.
Upgraded backwards to a film camera that's about my age, and loving every minute of it. Playing with the different lens, loading up film, winding, re-winding. No menus, all manual, all in front of you. Choosing the film to load and sticking with it until it's done, handing to development, waiting, getting...
Gotten me to appreciate photography more. Experience it differently, making it more "real".
And after the thrill was over, upgraded (this time the other direction) to a dSLR.
Although It's not exactly film, pictures can always be taken (no need buying more film), changing ISO at wish, and pictures are "developed" on the spot.

Art & Beauty are in the eye of the beholder. Having struck an accord at many doesn't necessarily mean that it's good, nor does it mean that it's bad. But what I feel is most important is for the artist to like their own work. Can't ask for more than that.

I'll recite words that I saw in many profiles:
Flickr (and photography) is all about communication. If we don't have the time, at least once in a while, to check out eachother's photos and comment and interact, then why bother to maintain a contact list to begin with? Thanks.
