I am a retired USAF medic and going back to college to get an actual degree. I am also addicteded to molten glass, lampwork in partular.

I read scf-fi/fantasy and listen to classic hard rock. I also enjoy camping, hiking, gold panning (any excuse to get way out of the city). Also love my garden, when I have time for it.

I have been married to Jo for 23 years. We have 3 adult kids and 3 grandkids. Now if we can just get the youngest to move out.

I live for my 2 Fids (feathered kids) Paco, a 5 yo B+G macaw, and Gracie, a 2 yo umbrealla cockatoo. They keep me busy and entertained. Along the them came and increased awaress/appreciation of the "wild" bird around us. I can resist trying to get a good pic of a new or different bird. If I have my camera with me that is.
