PLEASE DO NOT USE MY PHOTOGRAPHS UNLESS OTHERWISE THEY ARE ALLOWED FOR, WITH MY DUE PERMISSION.

Photographer at heart, entrepreneur by profession, photography has always been more than a leisure for me. Photography is a passion for me that drives me to capture every unique moment in my camera. I believe in photography being an art, if captured well, a picture can speak a thousand words.

Even though my interest lies in capturing the different aspects of the rural and cultural lifestyle, I never limit myself to one thing. My work spans but is not limited to street photography, portraits, urban life, rural landscapes, historical architecture’s photography, cityscapes and cultural photography. Everything has its own beauty and I tend to capture it with perfection and precision. I don’t photograph subjects. I photograph the way they make me feel. One of my favorite areas in photography is to capture everyday acts of seemingly ordinary people, but who, like every person, fill a key role in the society's grand design. Working on Minority groups, I have set out my goal to capture stories of people belong to every region. (the tendency of my photography work which you will find holding a major stake of my photos available on FLICKR...)

My work has been displayed over various websites and exhibitions. I am an active participant in various photography competitions, there is, however, one which is of great esteem for me was the contract assigned to me by the Asian Development Bank (Pakistan Chapter). I was asked to capture the ADB's (Asian Development Bank) respective projects which were in progress in Pakistan.

Another achievement for me was The International Labor Organization (ILO) in Islamabad, a competition funded by the Canadian International Development Agency. My key focus was on highlighting the hardship and labor of the feminine gender faces in Pakistan and my photo was ranked amongst the top ten in this competition. (the details and the photos of this competition was also published into the magazine THE EXPRESS TRIBUNE, FEBRUARY 6, 2011 edition

issuu.com/etribune/docs/february-6/1).

My success however, is in the fact that my passion is fed thoroughly with various meaningful opportunities. I am also a Gettyimages contributor, Off and on my work is published in different magazines, blogs, articles, books and newspapers for editorial and commercial purposes; this helps me keep my interest alive. My passion has grown into a craze and this is the key ingredient that makes my photography a success.

ADB PHOTOGRAPHY

ADB PHOTOGRAPHY

Awarding with an assignment by the Asian Development Bank in the month of August 2011, for the photography of ADB supported projects, was indeed a great honor for me. I had been doing the photography for the last many years and this was a milestone for me of international recognition.

This has been of more gratification now when few of those photos that I have contributed under the assignment with the ADB have been published in the segment of Pakistan into the book published by the ADB with the title THE NEW SILK ROAD. These photos can be seen on the pages spreading over 71-81 of the book whereas my name is mentioned on the page 122, into the list of photographers representing their countries.

Nadeem Khawar is very humble and has always been very kind whenever I had to have a query or favor from him about the photography. The photography he has done so far is of excellence and there is not doubt in recognizing him as a great photographer of Pakistan.
