Like most people I have been pointing a camera at things all my life but only recently started to learn what the camera can do and what I may have been missing.

I think as I progress I find myself drawn to darker shadows and I like a bit of noise and grain in my pictures. The grittiness appeals to me. Though I when I see a photo from someone that is perfect exposed and wonderfully lit I find it as beautiful as they intended. But I think my natural style is a bit more chaotic. However I try to take my camera with me when I leave the house in case there is something worth shooting. Despite my preferences there are a great many things I find interesting.
