An enthusiast photographer since 2012 who found his feet first with the X100S in 2013, becoming disciplined with the 35mm equivalent focal length over the next 4 years. I am quite perfectionist in my approach, and have perhaps a rigid style with regard to composition. I tend to avoid arbitrary angles, preferring to take up the whole frame with the intended subject face on, or utilise the rule of thirds with regard to both foreground and background elements. My weakness is that I feel myself to adhere to these rules too strictly. I believe every shot I have uploaded reflects this adherence, but I find it entirely satisfying and pleasing once the moment is captured and the intended effect achieved. Sometimes I stumble upon accidents, other times I am better prepared, but what is not shared are the hundreds if not thousands of images deleted on the spot due to the frustrating process of perfectionism. Whether any of these examples of what I intend as art are any good, I leave to the eyes of those I would be fortunate enough to have stumble upon my work.

After 3 years of attempting to focus on another hobby (music), I have returned with an X-E3 and an XF 35mm 1.4 for starters, understanding now that my photography helped fuel both inspiration and my ambition.
