Photography is honestly a passion I never would have thought I was going to have. When I was a young girl my sister was the photographer in the family and she created such beautiful images.... I sort of became jealous. I truly became a photographer on my trip to Colorado when I was 16 years old... I dabbled here and there when I could sneak my sister's camera out of the room.

But the one photo I will always remember was from our Christmas trip to Breckenridge. My mom and i had been wandering around the town and we were walking over this bridge with a small frozen stream running through. I grabbed my mom's digital camera (nothing fancy) and took this beautiful picture of the stream.

From then on I have been hooked. I spent 2 years in college working in photography before deciding to head back into education, but I spend every available minute I have taking pictures for my friends, family, of myself, and whatever is around me. I prefer nature photography but I also truly enjoy portraiture as well. Photography has been a passion for me for the passion 13 years and I wouldn't have it any other way.
