My aim in creating art is to start a dialogue, whether that be about the subject matter or the process. I use contemporary materials but with a nostalgic aesthetic. I was drawn to graffiti because it gives me the ability to bring my art to an audience that normally wouldn't visit a gallery. Unfortunately graffiti doesn't pay the bills. Now it's canvas instead of concrete.

I graduated from San Diego State University. While there I studied: sculpture, painting, metalsmithing, and textiles.
