Hi, I am Mike I am 46 years old, a dad of 1(Kevin), step dad to 3(Michael, Sharon and Tammy) and a grandpa to 10 (Paris, James, Jacob, Marisa, Donta, Aspen, Cameron, Grace, Ethan, and Tyler). I am married to the perfect German woman (Sabine) who has puts up with a lot from me in the last 15 years. My family is second only to my faith.

We took up photography as a hobby we could both do together. I have a Canon Rebel XT and 30D with too many Len’s to count and still cannot use any of it worth a darn. My wife use’s a Canon Powershot S2 IS.

I was born in Minnesota, did my time in the Army (serving in the first Gulf War) and ended up settling in Texas. We move to Virginia a little over 2 yrs ago for a job opportunity, but fully intend to go back to Texas where our family.

I have a broad view of life, most build on experience and past mistakes. I am opinionated and bullheaded at times and I don’t lack self confidence, which has carried me through many things in my life. I have always rebel in the fact of doing thing that people said I couldn’t do; I don’t know the word impossible. My beliefs are very strong and I don’t shake easily. I know right from wrong and can not stand to have my honesty or integrity question. People either like me or they don’t, I am always me, so if you are one of the ones that doesn’t like me sorry but it doesn’t bother me! I am true to my friends and will do anything in my power to help them.

I enjoy photographing wildlife and landscapes, it is my break from the fast pace life of Northern Virginia.
