Slooh is the only live online observatory. The community of amateur astronomers launched in 2004 and has taken over a quarter million pictures of beautiful celestial objects. The site's flagship observatory is located in the Canary Islands, with two more online soon in Chile and Australia. All the sites are far away from light pollution and offer a clear view of the night sky. Slooh.com's interface is all point and click, so no experience is required to remotely control the telescopes.
