When I stumbled upon Stacey's stream--not long after I started on Flickr-- I discovered a space of possibilities of which I had no prior conception. It was a big moment: it changed my approach to photography, and ultimately got me hooked on film. For while there are many fine film photographers, lomographers, and xpro addicts on Flickr, very few combine such gleeful, infectious experimentalism with the sensitive appreciation of form and color that Stacey's work exemplifies. Hers is a joyous, electric, hurly-burly mixture of craft and crazy-- possibly irresistible. And not only does she sport a stream of seemingly limitless variety and interest, but she is an extraordinarily friendly and helpful contact, too. We're very lucky to have her here!

the testimonials testify to this testy shutterbugs zest for tricks of the trade and surprises that are always fresh -- more than this -- she's got the faculty of humor in concert with a keen eye. go slithy! onward toves!

First and foremost, slithy is generous. In her photos and to others. Colour, shape and shadow are her specialties and sifting through her photos is always a breath of fresh air. Slithy-toves has inspired me to move outside the digital realm and into the velvety smooth walls of film yet again. Thank you and keep on keepin' on, we are all depending on you! :)

At first glance, Stacey's photostream seems a very eclectic mixture. But there is a strong unifying theme, of life observed closely and carefully, yielding images that are strikingly beautiful and thought-provoking.

Stacey's photos always amaze me - the way she manages to take the simplest things and arrange them with such excellent composition and use of texture always makes me kinda envious! Plus there's the fact that she has to be one of the most genuinely friendly and cool people on this here Flickr place...

Her whiffles are like no other and those tulgey-woody bits are really quite breathtaking. I've yet to see her in full effect tackling a host of numpties, but suspect that when I do, I'll be left speechless. Her photos are alright too. :-)

i remember when she didn't even use flickr....crazy i know. the amount she's learnt about photography in pretty much one year is staggering. i still think she takes too many studies, but she has some brilliant stuff on here!

Olympic standard gimbller, and black-belted gyrer... strictly when t'is brillig, of course. The rest of the time, slithy-toves dazzles us with her gorgeous geometry and luscious lines. There's abstracts to die for, a divine relationship with the colour blue, and an attention to the unseen that brings the world around us dazzlingly to life. Whether it's film or digital, funky lensbaby or nifty fifty, there's such a plethora of lusciousness here, you'll want to stay for a goodly while. So pour that glass of wine, settle back, and prepare to be entranced...

Slithy has too many testimonials but that's somewhat irrelevant; I'll write a new one anyway. She has great glasses and great photos. A little known fact is that she is totally, 100% mad.

Who'd have thought anyone could turn me into faves whore? I like the contrast between razor sharp compositional sense and a generous humanity in your pics - truly a rare combination.

True to her instincts, slithy-toves always delivers her own very deliberate angle on the every-day visions -- elegant and plucky.
